Sapphire Gemstones A blue emerald-cut sapphire, weighing in at 33.06 carats, radiates from within a platinum frame of diamonds in this showstopper. The gemstone is of natural, no-heat, Ceylon origin (accompanied by an AGL gemological report) and displays a sky blue hue diamond-like clarity. The sapphire was originally featured in a Art Deco necklace from the 1920s-30s by the renowned French jeweler – La Cloche Freres.
